Since
Georgia was first to convert to 100% Diebold, does that makes us Ground Zero
for Election fraud?
|
When Does it seem weird to you our old Secretary of State for
whom Cathy Cox worked, Lewis Massey, became a Diebold lobbyist the day after
he left office?
Did you know Cathy Cox once wanted to change to the Republican
Party?

”This
is not a computer-programming problem. It is a procedural matter, and part of
the procedure must involve keeping human beings, as many of us as possible,
in control of our own voting system. Any computerized voting system that
requires us to trust a few computer scientists and some corporate executives
constitutes flawed public policy. It doesn’t matter whether they come up with
perfect cryptographic techniques or invent smart cards so clever they can
recognize us by sight. The real problem is that we’ve created a voting system
controlled by someone else.” – Bev Harris in book “Black Box Voting”

HAVA SPECIFICALLY APPROVES THE USE OF PAPER BALLOTS.
HAVA specifically approves the use of a paper ballot
voting system by Sec. 301(a)(1)(B) specifiying
that, and I quote:
"A state or jurisdiction that uses a paper ballot voting system,
may meet the requirements of subparagraph (A)(iii) by
(1) establishing a voter education program
specific to that voting system that notifies each voter of the effect of
casting multiple votes for an office; and
(ii) providing that
voter with instructions on how to correct the ballot, before it is cast and
counted (including instructions on how to correct the error through the
issuance of a replacement ballot if the voter was otherwise unable to
change the ballot or correct any error).
HAVA also authorizes paper ballot voting systems as follows,
word for word
"Sec. 301(c)(2) PROTECTION OF PAPER BALLOT SYSTEMS--For
purposes of subsection (a)(1)(A)(i), the term "verify" may not be
defined in a manner that makes it impossible for a paper ballot voting system
to meet the requirements of such subsection or to be modified to meet such
requirements."
